I often get asked questions about District 6, for example; when did our city go to districts? Where are its boundaries and what makes up District 6?
On a map, some say our District resembles a lion. District 6 was created in July 2018. District 6 is a unique district in the City of Santa Clara. We are the southernmost district in the city. Our district borders more than one city, both cities being San Jose and Cupertino.
One side of our District is bordered by the Apple Campus in Cupertino while the other side of our district borders the Valley Fair Mall with Stevens Creek Boulevard and Pruneridge connecting it all. From Pruneridge Ave the district extends up Kiely Blvd to Homestead Rd then all the way to Scott Blvd/Newhall down to Winchester and then back down to Stevens Creek.
